Lean Six Sigma Project Results

 At GoldRiver Orchards, our TIMWOOD project resulted in a $40k/year income increase by enhancing the pounds of nuts packed per person, per hour. Through improved efficiency, we transformed operations, delivering tangible growth and improved profitability for the packer. 

 Through guided practice, a team leader received coaching on using root cause analysis tools like the Fishbone diagram and the 5 Whys technique. She effectively mobilized the team to identify key issues and implement improvements.

 We fostered a culture of continuous improvement. Every team member in the value stream was trained in issue brainstorming, root cause analysis, and bias toward immediate improvements. Their collective efforts focused on making incremental enhancements and improving the overall process
